It has been a real pleasure working with you and your team. No hesitation about coming to step in, even if its Christmas day or during a blizzard. The quality of the workmanship from imaginative and skilled, detailed carpentry to some very tricky tiling challenges are evident everywhere. The new brick and flint work creating two new window openings was done with no fuss just care and thought.

The massive challenge of creating a porch where the roof-line made it extremely problematic and resolving that into something that is both graceful and beautiful with exceptional lead-work is quite a triumph. The transformation of an old shed into a bedroom with a stylish mezzanine sleeping platform is both fun and very attractive. the bespoke oak banister and stair ladder are fabulous.

More than anything though you have had to take decisions and sometimes anticipate and improvise in our absence and have made all the right choices every time. The internal joinery; all of those new shelves, bookshelves, wardrobes and cupboards with white oak are perfect and give us the storage we need for the long term.  I would be very happy for anyone to visit and see for themselves just what you have achieved. We are very happy to show it off to anyone.

JRP Construction have recently completed a major renovation of our Victorian three story town house including a new slate roof, knocking walls down to make rooms bigger, replastering, repairing and painting all of the original Victorian wooden windows, fitting reclaimed fireplaces, installing central heating, complete electric rewire, fitting new kitchen and bathrooms, landscaping and laying new patio. James and his team were able to accommodate and accomplish all of our wants and desires resulting in a beautiful sympathetically restored house.

James has been working for us for nearly 13 years and has completed a range of works from carpentry on a new build, renovation works on a Victorian terrace and latterly the major work on our current home. We have no hesitation in recommending his company; he is always reliable and very responsive to customer communication replying promptly to telephone calls, emails and texts. He has a very good knowledge of the building trade and is always able to sort and resolve any problems that arise. Following completion James will always attend for any snagging issues that inevitably arise when you undertake large scale projects.

We completely trust James and JRP Construction to carry out any building work for us and it is always a pleasure to work with him.

I asked JRP Construction to clad my house in cedar as the existing cladding was tired and beginning to show signs of rot. He provided an accurate quote (which he stuck to), sourced all the materials, was friendly and helpful throughout and completed the job quickly and efficiently. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.
